In this video we'll show you how to connect Drip to your Kourses memberships.
When complete, this integration will allow you to add any members added to a specific Kourses membership to your Drip account, and add them to specific Email Series and tags within your account.
This guide will show you step-by-step how to connect your Kourses membership to your Drip account, allowing you to send new member information automatically for follow-up marketing.
Step 1: Choose the Membership to Integrate
Go to your Kourses dashboard.
Select the membership you want to integrate.
Click on the Integrations tab inside that membership.
Step 2: Add a New Service
Under Email Marketing and Others, click Add Service.
A list of available integrations will appear.
Step 3: Connect Your Drip Account
Find Drip in the list and click Connect.
If you're not already logged into Drip, you'll be prompted to log in.
You will be asked to authorize Kourses to access your Drip account.
This permission allows Kourses to send new member data into your Drip campaigns.
If you have multiple Drip accounts, select the one you want and click Authorize.
Step 4: Choose a Campaign and Tags
Once back in Kourses, you’ll see an option to select a campaign.
Kourses pulls in your Email Series from Drip (found under Drip > Campaigns > Email Series).
Make sure your Email Series is published and active for it to appear.
You can also assign a tag:
Start typing the name of the tag you want.
Choose the relevant tag (e.g.,
Premium Members
orBasic Members
).
⚡ Important:
You can integrate one Email Series and one tag per membership.
Step 5: Save Your Integration
Once you’ve selected the desired campaign and tag, click Save.
Now, any new member who joins the selected membership will:
Be tagged in Drip accordingly.
Be added to the selected Email Series for automated follow-up emails.
That's It!
Your Kourses membership is now successfully integrated with Drip!
New members will automatically flow into your Drip marketing campaigns — hands-free.
Abandoned Cart Leads Integration

Capture more leads and boost your conversions by linking Drip with Kourses’ abandoned cart tool.
Here’s exactly how to set it up.

Step 3: Connect Drip
Choose Drip from the integration list.
Note: If you haven’t connected Drip yet, check out the separate tutorial on connecting Drip to Kourses.
Step 4: Select Your Drip Campaign
Choose a Drip campaign that will handle abandoned cart leads.
Example: A simple Abandon Checkouts email series.
This will automatically email users who abandon their checkout, encouraging them to return.
Step 5: (Optional) Add Tags
You can assign tags to these leads by selecting from your Drip tags list.
This helps with better segmenting and targeting later.
Step 6: Create Custom Fields in Drip
To personalize your follow-up emails, you’ll need two custom fields in Drip:
Go to Drip and access the People tab on the left-hand sidebar.
Click Custom Fields.
Press the pink + button and create the following fields:
cart_membership_name
(use underscores between words)cart_url
Step 7: Link Custom Fields in Kourses

.Checkout URL Field → Select

.
Click Save.
Step 8: How It Works
Once set up:
When someone abandons checkout (e.g., by closing the window), Kourses triggers the integration about one hour later.
Their details are sent to Drip:
They're added to your abandoned checkout campaign.
Any selected tags are applied.
The membership name and checkout URL are automatically stored in the custom fields.
You can now personalize your Drip emails with:
The product they almost bought.
A direct link to complete their purchase.
