The Blocklist feature allows you to block certain visitors from purchasing from you. This can be useful if you have had customers who have repeatedly refunded your products, or caused support or community problems.

To use the Blocklist feature, first go to Settings > Blocklist

On the Blocklist page, you can choose to Add to Blocklist to add a new blocked customer.


On the new entry page you can specify the details of the customer you want to block. 

From the Type menu, you can choose Email address or IP address. You can then enter the specifics for the contact you wish to block.

Email Address blocking

If you enter the email address of a customer you wish to block, a visitor attempting to purchase with this email will be blocked from purchasing.

They will see a generic error on the checkout which stop them from purchasing. Whilst this is not 100% effective, it will stop some customers from purchasing and can reduce issues from problematic customers.

IP Address blocking

If you have the IP address of the customer you wish to block, this will stop them from accessing any of your checkout pages - and therefore they will be unable to purchase.
