This document explains how the work the Abandoned Cart Leads table works, focusing on how prospects who abandon a purchase are tracked and how their data is displayed.
Key Features of the Abandoned Cart Leads Table
- Tracks prospects who fail to complete a purchase during checkout.
- A lead is created when the prospect provides at least an email address at checkout.
- Email Address: Mandatory for creating a lead.
- Name: Optional, captured if entered during checkout.
- Membership/Product: The specific item they attempted to purchase.
- Date and Time: Timestamp of the abandoned checkout.
- Filter or sort leads based on criteria such as the membership/product, email address, or date.
- Once a lead is created, a new lead using the same email address will not be created for another 7 days. This limits the lead from frequently being added to your abandoned checkout recovery.
- Once a lead successfully purchases, the lead is removed from the Abandoned Cart Leads list.
- If a lead does not purchase after 90 days of being added to the Abandoned Cart Leads list, they are removed.
