The Member Profiles feature allows your course, community or membership members to create their own personalised bio. A space where they can share their story, location, website and social links. This guide walks you through how to set up and manage member profiles as an admin, as well as how members can customise their own.

1. Accessing Member Profile Settings

1.    Navigate to the Member Profile Page settings:

  • Go to Website (main menu) > General (sub menu).
  • Scroll down to the Member List Options section.

2.    Toggle Member List Page On or Off:

  • On: Displays the member list page to your community.
  • Off: Hides the member list page entirely.

3.    Optional Display Settings:

  • Show member number count.
  • Show admin members.
  • Show moderator members.


2. Editing Your Own Admin Profile

As an admin, you can personalise your profile:

  1. Click your profile avatar (top-right corner).
  2. Select Manage Courses Account.
  3. Scroll down to update:
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Location
  • Website and social media links
  • Click Save to apply your changes.


3. Managing Moderator Profiles

  1. Click your avatar again and select Settings.
  2. Go to Users to view site admins/moderators.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to a moderator’s name to edit their profile details.

Note: Additional admins and moderators can also update their profiles in their own accounts. 


4. How Members Edit Their Profiles

Members can easily update their own profiles:

  1. Click their profile avatar in the membership area.
  2. Select "Your Profile" from the pop-up menu.
  3. Update:
  • Avatar
  • First and last name
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Location
  • Website and social media links

Note: Email addresses are automatically set and cannot be shared publicly.


5. Viewing the Member List

When the Member List is active:

Access it via the Members link in the sidebar.

See a list of:

  • All members
  • Admins
  • Moderators (if any)
  • Optionally display member counts to:
    • Showcase the size and activity of your community.
    • Highlight exclusivity if you have a small, select membership.


6. Viewing Member Profiles

Clicking on a member’s name opens their profile, which can include:

  • Profile photo (avatar)
  • Name and title
  • Bio
  • Location
  • Membership start date
  • Website and social media links
  • Recent activity:
    • Posts in the community
    • Comments on posts or lessons
    • Online status (green dot = online, plus last active time)
